MAHALAXMI INDUSTRIAL ASSOCIATION, Dakshina Kannada District Small Scale Industries Association, was established in 1993 under the Karnataka Societies Act. For more than three decades, the association has worked towards the growth of industries, trade, and commerce by promoting industrial development, entrepreneurship, skill enhancement, and collaboration between businesses and government bodies.

The association represents industries including textile & garments, agriculture, automobiles, and heavy industries. It continuously supports entrepreneurs by organizing seminars, workshops, conferences, technical education programs, and industrial awareness activities.
